Event Description

Nestled in the foothills of Northwest Reno lies a dreamy piece of purple heaven. Lavender Ridge is Reno's most unique spot for procuring one of a kind gifts for the home and garden. Owners Kristi and Mike, keeping it an authentic mom and pop operation, have literally grown their business from the ground up.

Curious guests of the store may be encouraged to take a stroll through the property's lush field of lavender, out of which many of the store's products, is used. For folks who haven't had an opportunity to visit Lavender Ridge, the weekend of July 18th and 19th would be a great time to do so, because the Third Annual Purple Summer Festival will be in full bloom.

There will be fantastic food, wine, arts, and crafts. For the first time the festival will include live music all day and night featuring some of the area's most talented musical artists. Including Michelle Pappas, Kate Cotter; Joni Blinman, Dave Berry, Jennie Tucker, Whitney Myer, Carrissa Warman, Tyler Stafford, Dave Fritz, Mike Sion, Eric Andersen, Alan Burton, Verbal Kint, and Mallary Engstrom.

Come visit that weekend to experience that piece of purple heaven firsthand. Lavender Ridge is located at 7450 West Fourth St., where 4th St. meets Mayberry.
