This is such a simple, easy reference to recycling by Greenprofs, we thought it worth forwarding to you in it’s original form. Enjoy!
Recycling helps to save forests from depleting, increases the quality of our water and stimulates the economy. For those reasons and many more it is important that everyone does what they can to [...]

Nevada’s clean-energy economy grew even faster than other sectors between 1998 and 2007, according to a study by The Pew Charitable Trusts. During that period, Nevada’s clean-energy industries increased employment by 28.8 percent to 3,641 jobs, compared to 26.5 percent for all jobs in the state. The clean-energy [...]
Today’s consumers are increasingly socially conscious, with a growing concern to know if companies honestly treat employees fairly while doing their part to protect and save the environment. Brand values like social responsibility, benefit to the community, and “being green” are at the top of more shopping lists than ever.
Not unsurprisingly, enthusiasts of technology are [...]

Nice to meet you! I'm new to ecoBrand. I'm beginning to build a small green home business in the Boulder City area. One of the things I'm looking forward to in the future is also creating a green website (tips, articles, recipes, interviews, products, etc.). We're having an exciting meeting tomorrow night at the Henderson Multi-generational Center. It's all about greening your home and ridding it (and the world) of toxic chemicals. Often the meetings are standing room only and they are a great place to network! We'd love to have you. E-mail me (jandlexcel@cox.net) and I'll send the flyer with all the details if you can’t see my attachment. Hope to see you there!
P.S. Would love to add you as a friend

I just joined ecobrand.ning. I think a composting biz is a great idea and would like you to keep me posted on any progress you make. Have you talked to Leslie Allen at University of Nevada Cooperative Extension? I spoke to her inquiring about compost and she recommended Full Circle Compost. According to the map on their website, it's a good 50 minute drive (one way) from central Reno. Surely Reno-Sparks locals would rather get good compost from a nearby source and God knows how much good material gets thrown away. I don't know if she could help in any way, but she is the Commercial Horticulture Program Coordinator. (775) 784-4848 / allenl@UNCE.unr.edu Good luck!

I am a student atUNR. Its funny you should mention wanting to start a composting business in Reno because my environmental class project is to develop a composting system for the food residuals at UNR. Last week on Wednesday we heard from Craig Witt who runs Full Circle Compost in Carson City, {http://www.fullcirclecompost.com/} I would recommend talking to him. Please let me know if you are interested in working with UNR students because a local composter in Reno would be ideal,
thanks,
Amy
